Families and Children at St Edmunds'

“Let the children come to me. God’s kingdom is made up of people like these”  Matthew 19:14

Family Services

11.00 am every Sunday
The first Sunday of the month is reserved for the family to celebrate services together! All are welcome.

Children are very welcome!
We encourage parents to bring their children to church with them, however young they may be. Toys and books await babies and toddlers at the back of church. There is also a play area in the crypt where children are welcome to quietly play with their parents during services.

Children’s church
Children’s church is held the second, third and last Sunday of each month. The classes meet during church services. There are two classes for ages 5-7 and 8-11. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Kirstin Reed, Leader for Children's Ministry.

Every Christmas the children participate in our paegant of the Nativity story.

Youth Group
The Youth Group at St Edmund's Church welcomes young people aged 11 to 14. We meet once a month, mostly on the second Sunday of the month. Our meetings are held in the crypt during the service and we go upstairs in time for communion. Anne-Grete Larsen is Leader for Youth Ministry. If you would like to join the youth group please contact her or Brian our senior Chaplain.
